C26 transparent brown shell “Foghorn” EP by LASAEL with J-card and download of all tracks. Released December 8th 2023. Run of 100. 30 left in stock.
A1 “Normal Bunny”, A2 “Villages”, A3 “Blind Worm Cycle”
B1 “Alone Bliss”, B2 “Windsor Levels”
Disciples of the Swans school of noise-rock, Lasael are an intense four-piece from Milan that compress decades of experimentation into a blistering debut EP. Reflecting an uneasy relationship with faith, bemoaning the shallow modern world, embracing the nihilistic cycles of life and death, and doubling-down on schizophrenic self-examination, Foghorn is a near-religious experience that speaks in howled tongues.
A collection of dark pulses, industrial rhythms, and tense string drone overlain with Jesse Perret’s elementally powerful vocal, Foghorn allows Luca Brunelli’s drums to hit like falling sledgehammers against walls of grinding sheet-metal. Chainsaws battle thunderous chug, dizzying keys and synth crawling out of the churning doom like maggots, Andrea Palmas’s crumpled bass and Stefano Lattanzio’s garrotte-wire strumming providing an anchor in the storm.
Lasael are exactly the kind of band you wanna get in on at ground level in order to share in their undoubted rise to the top.

C58 transparent yellow shell “Wayfarer” LP by One Little Atlas with J-card and download of all tracks. Released November 10th 2023. Run of 75. 16 left in stock.
A1 “Ascend”, A2 “Llyn”, A3 “Devotion”, A4 “Roads”, A5 “Holo”, A6 “Of Love”
B1 “Wayfarer”, B2 “Realise”, B3 “Ceremony”, B4 “Twilight”, B5 “Autonomous”
Mancunian two-piece One Little Atlas (OLA/O>L>A) return with their debut album, Wayfarer, a sumptuous compositional collection that’s a step-up in scope and scale. Take their collaboration with the Up North Orchestra – an outdoorsy and optimistic tonic in trying times – Dean Jones’ tasteful electronics blended with a string arrangement and Kevan Hardman’s ethereal, virtuoso vocal.
Choral harmonies swell the rafters throughout, simmering percussion and a gentle guitar palette leading to serene synths, devastating viola and chimes having an early morning, Eastern quality. Appealing to both the heart and the head, dreamy ambience and the peaceful lapping of the shoreline drop out into drifting New Age flute, everything coming together at the wind-whipped peaks of post-rock.
Wayfarer is a huge and luxurious achievement deserving of an equally huge audience.

C66 antique silver shell “Split” LP by Oestara and No Trophy with J-card and download of all tracks. Released March 22nd 2024. Run of 60. 3 left in stock.
Oestara - A1 “Blip”, A2 “Afterwards”, A3 “Kech”, A4 “Once Upon A Time”, A5 “Cellos”, A6 “Sunday Skate Park”, A7 “One Day All This Will Be Gone”, A8 “Ending”
No Trophy B1 “Restbiter”, B2 “Calve”, B3 “Queenless”, B4 “Grips”, B5 “We Are Never Far”, B6 “Sullen Paws”, B7 “Helix”, B8 “Temes”
Talented UK producers Oestara and No Trophy showcase two 30-minute sets that bring together choice cuts from their dreamy discographies, a mutual affection for ambient IDM and cerebral glitch unifying the release. And for Ramber, it’s a project that reignites our early flirtation with electronic composition (espher and Botpoem & Bugyell fans, you still with us?).
Oestara is Kent-based artist Ali Grimsey and her gently stoned side is the warmer of the two with its nebulous blossoming, pretty patterning and pillowy loops, while Matt Whittle’s No Trophy (also of Emperor Zero) is more at home in the realms of dark ambience.
What follows is an exercise in yin and yang, Oestara pairing chopped and spliced pitch-shifting and skittering beats with Balearic bliss and 2-step precision, while No Trophy explores downtempo bleeps and zero gravity zen, organic pulses rippling the surface of his new age meditation. Hazy afternoon sesh through to the streaking lights of the ride home from the afters, Oestara and No Trophy got you covered.
